Shares in Alkane Exploration jumped 7% to 24c in early trading after the company announced what it said was new porphyry gold-copper mineralisation at its Kaiser project in NSW.
Alkane said results such as 16m at 0.87% copper and 0.57gpt gold and 54m at 0.33% copper and 0.14gpt gold were intersected at the Duke prospect.
Duke has a geological area of 450m at 200m and sits within the broader Bodangora Project.
