Boadicea halts stock as drilling results come in

Tuesday May 12, 2015: Boadicea Resources (BOA) has set punters' hearts racing this morning with a request for a trading halt pending the release of drilling results from its nickel project, located 6km from Sirius Resources' Nova deposit.

Boadicea said last week that it was drilling a 550m-deep hole at Symons Hill targeting a "prominent EM anomaly" which was "marginal to a cross fault on the edge of a large gravity target considered to represent a large mafic intrusive body".

The company noted that major faults such as this have the potential to be the structural controls of mineralisation.

Boadicea shares have been rising strongly in anticipation of the drilling, with the stock climbing from 29c to 37c in the past week or so.
