Really , must be a very small percentage of Skilled migrants. In fact dont see how, in the skills shortage, they would not be able to find a job. As regards students- the fees are huge so I assume most would have support from overseas. However I have heard that some do use the student visa to get here and get a foothold in the country. Even in the USA there are cases of exploitation of students.
The idea to stop providing banking services moves law enforcement to bankers. Given how incorrect are the assumptions my bank makes on my aspirations or spending I would hate to enforce policing via them. I think the Westpac case was different- there was transaction evidence and know your customer failings.
I want BOQ to just be a bank and apply systems to manage the risks.
I dont want them to become an exclusive club
