I would say Hamas were very deceptive to the world in how they integrated into everyday Palestinian lifestyles. Maybe the Gazans had no real choice as 90per cent supported the mantra from 2004 but targetting the real terrorists is really hard to do. Thankfully the forces have minimised collateral damage as referenced by many military tacticians but clearly plenty of rebuilding will have to occur. There was no time to start digging for tunnels which were everywhere under the residential areas. Hamas played the locals for muppets unfortunately.
