I'd be careful shorting Gold at present. Now that a new case of ebola has hit America (in New York) I reckon they are going to be paranoid about tapping the brakes on the economy too soon. This crisis could be the catalyst that changes the hawks to policy doves and means that we will see some big gains in Gold (and corresponding falls in US$ and interest rates).
