I have a better response, let them address their community in a hall or square. Let them explain why they believed your house, animals or lives should be lost due to their arson. Let them address their community at say a ratio of 50:1 and seek understanding that their lives are a mess due to poor parenting, too much red cordial or limited access to fresh fruit. What ever lame justification is available to their lawyer on the day. I’m sure there neighbours will turn the other cheek. But at a ratio of 50:1 some may not and the outcome could be ugly. But gee a lesson could be learnt. Maybe a Greens type could be his mentor!
