Due to the Sydney covid virus spreading throughout the countryside Pilbara Minerals has decided to unfortunately cancel the up coming 2 Dollar party that was to be headlined by John Farnham. CEO Ken Brinsden " regrettably we have had to postpone the event to a later date and will contact our shareholders in due course".
I called Ken this morning and happened to catch him while he was sailing around Rottnest Island on his yacht
GTC: G'day Ken . How's it going?
KB : Just cruising. What's up Gee ?
GTC: I heard about tomorrows announcement. Care to comment
KB : We can't risk it . Bloody covid. Quite a lot of planning down the drain
GTC : I see you booked Johnny. Is this his comeback tour again?
KB : No mate, we booked Farnsie, you know to support the music industry during these tough times. The arts and all that stuff are having a hard time.
GTC : You're too kind mate. " Comeback from 13cents" one off gig has a nice ring to it. Oh the irony.
KB : Farnsie wouldn't get. Nice try but smart ar_e
GTC : I see you sold your BMX for a nice price the other day. Didn't know you were a rider
KB : Yeah, back in the day. I've got more in the garage. I sold the old 5.5 first. Plenty of BMX 6.0 out the back too somewhere. They'll go up for sale as well
GTC : You know what you are Ken. You're a BMX bandit
KB : Nah. I've got the product that the peeps want. Market decides the price
GTC : Last year you stole Altura. You've become quite the thief these days. What's next ?
KB : I've got a few BMX 7.0 in the works. It does 0- 60metres in 2.9 seconds. It'll sell for big money me thinks
GTC : That's ludicrous . Technical grade ?
KB : We call it beast mode. Ludicrous is obviously taken
GTC : How's Posco going ? Been a long while now. Seems like mission impossible
KB : Where still talking. Need to cross the I's and T's.
GTC : Lot's of I and T in Titanic. Wouldn't like to sink the ship with debt
KB : Mmm, what have you been up to Gee ?
GTC : Not a lot to do in lockdown. Watching a lot of movies and you of course
KB : Psycho
