Due respect & I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder... A pretty well noted NZ businessman (& a mate!) attributes his success to: "... the school years spent saving the bus fare by walking the 4k's to & from the classroom"... Which, of course, raises the question of how quicker & further he would have been ahead had he been saving the taxi fare for the same journey instead...

Conversely, IMO, during it's school days, BDR had been 'booking up' it's taxi fares to class & simply 'putting off' the day the 'piper was gonna come a'calling'....
