In the 24 hours to 0900 AEST on Saturday 4 May 2024, Girilambone in western NSW (northwest of Dubbo), Cowra and Parkes in the central west each had about 20 millimetres of rain. Trangie had almost double that.
This will be helpful, as long as the paddocks are 'navigable'
Rainfall elsewhere has been minimal: Moree in the northwest and Narrandera in the NSW Riverina (latter fairly close to the Victorian border) had minimal.
Victoria hasn't had much rain in its graingrowing areas for a while, but based on the little I've read elsewhere, conditions for planting the winter 2024 hoped-for crops may still be reasonable.
