The Anteo of old used the ‘commercial in confidence’ as a device behind which to hide their inability to close a deal.
DR should keep that in mind when sticking with the ‘no news is good news’ mantra. Previous managements (plural) have put us through the wringer more than once.
Disdain for small shareholders is not smart and smacks of elitism. If I controlled 50 or even 100 million shares, I’m pretty sure I would get through to management with a phone call. Not saying that I would receive confidential information but I would certainly find myself reassured.
