The 225 tonne a day equipment is apparently still there but no doubt would need a bit of maintance.
Just back of the beer coaster numbers….
225 tonnes @say 5 gms per tonne gives 1,125 gms a day..circa 38 ounces a day.
38 0zs worth lets say $AUD 2000 per Oz is $76000 per day, $2,280,000 per month.
I dont know the operating costs but power, excavators, trucks, wages etc might be Hmm $300,000 per month?. It wouldnt take too much equipment to move 225 tonnes a day!
So a profit of around $1.9 mil per month.$23 mil pa before tax.
Small bikkies in a sense but geez that may help reduce capital raising!
They could also invest in a bigger processing plant I suppose.
So management get the permits done and continue the detailed planning of the larger open pit BUT start putting dirt into that dammed processor tomorrow!.
