Not looking good at all for the rose-coloured glasses brigade....all conducted mid to late August, with only seven weeks to go. Throwing everything including the kitchen sink at the electorate won't be enough to turn the SS Titanic around, I'm happy to say.
The two nationwide polls were SECNewgate and Pollinate, with one saying "54% No" and the other "56% No".
Importantly, a third poll (Instigate??) has focussed solely on Tasmania which up until now has not had sufficient poll sample sizes. The latest result in Tassie reflects the nationwide trend (around 54% No) also. That's a huge blow to the Albo Show.
People are hearing the "Fat Lady" (Ms. Davis) warming up, and the swansong she has rehearsed 4 times already has been cut back by the conductor from 18 verses down to 1, because he "hasn't read" the full score. And why would he?
