Perth has a dry heat and a lovely sea breeze, but have noticed that over the last few years the humidity has increased.
London has high density both in population and buildings, and gets humid. London's population swells during the week, so many commute to work from other towns and cities, plus all the tourists. Wasn't unusual for some to spend up to 3hrs travelling one way just to get to work. Best day to be in London was Sunday back then, as all the shops were closed. Changed now, obviously. Used to head off to Hampstead Heath, or Regents Park when the temp started to climb, or go and have drinks down on one of the pub boats on the Thames.
