The first 4x4 that I owned was an International which had something like a 7 litre engine, basically they took a big prime mover scrapped the body and put a little 2 door body on, a friend of mine had a Nissan at the time and he could not believe the economy that I got.
Very spectacular with a big 28ft cruiser on the back to burn off various hot heads at the lights.
