Last week I was given an insight into how Victorian Ambulance Services are operating on the ground. On at least one occasion a country ambo ended up 200km away from home base and rather than continue to pay overtime the Ambulance Service offered to pay for the ambo to get home by taxi.
Is that madness or what. I have known this young ambo since he was twelve years old and have no reason to disbelieve him.
Andrews has taken Victoria down a path where no-one can manage and no-one can think for themselves. Centralised decision making and a lack of real autonomy is literally killing Victoria.
