There are low explosives and high explosives.. low / slow burning explosives are only good for pushing things, like a bullett out a gun. If you want to destroy something you need to use high explosives.
All missiles and bombs use high explosives. So there is no missile or bomb that would create a big orange fire ball with black oily smoke.
