a bakken anoligy

with the term a bakken anoligy used in the ryder report i have looked through a few bakken plays.
they seem to avg around 1500 bopd for each well and a record of 5280 bopd for one well.


so if this dose become a bakken sytle play we can probably expect to get 1000-plus bopd.

it seems that they space them at around 400acres per well so say we have 1.5 million acres (possbly few more) thats just under 1750 wells.
if we go 25% of 7.8 million acres with a well every 400acres it comes out the same "DAH" anyway even if we only drill half of that we have 1000 wells producing at 1000dopd(low avg for bakken)
say each well produces for 2 years at $100p/barrel.

$100000x7days x 104weeks = about 25% of 70million per well after drilling costs at $100 p/barrel and imo this is what it will take for statoil to pull the trigger guns a blaze.

so lets say we have our 25% chunk in 1000 producing wells at 70million per well that leaves us with.

14 billion dollars of oil for bkp.
so all in all we can times that by 8 for the whole four ep,s and we come up with the abruption of staoil and that is only drilling half of the leases.
just a rough frigure with to much time spent but it certainly dose become obvious why statoil abruptly barged down the door with 200 odd million to spend.
may be well out but seems ball park figure to me....if we see 1000plus bopd we should fly.
