I applaud that approach. Just hard to do in many cases. So much can be gained by entering the premises and feeling out the vibe. One could reliably base an investment on that alone, imo.
A few months back, I commented that I felt revulsion looking at the picture of a CEO of a small company. Regulars on HC will know the company I'm referring to and what happened next. I can spot a slime ball at a hundred paces.
