I was in a lecture once, and the topic of metaphors came up. The lecturer asked for an example and quick as flash, a bloke at the front said "Ah, ah! Its on the tip of my tongue." The lecturer said "Great example!" then the bloke at the front piped up, "Dammit. My mind's gone blank." The lecturer said "Better yet!"
