It's a bit left field but FLC has a microbial fuel cell used in water purification. It can be tweaked to produce hydrogen from sewage waste, but it is not intended to produce surplus hydrogen. The hydrogen produced would be utilised to power the water purification process or at best feed electricity to the grid. They are not yet building this power generating MFC but it is inevitable. Worth a look.
