You think I was going to risk my career and life's work by handing it over to bunch of amateurish civil servants? There was nothing wrong with me, but the civil servants wouldn't let it go, a bunch of doctors who've failed at making a successful career in the private sector.
In addition there's always 2 pilots if one has a medical problem on an airliner. It was completely over the top and I wouldn't mind betting there's loads of pilots who won't admit medical problem because they don't think they're going to get a fair hearing by the aviation authorities.
