Mr Abbott was at a forum specifically discussing Brexit and Britain becoming and independent nation again. There will a an inevitable back lash from a jilted Europe (read Britain will be shut out / punished ) and in that context he stated that he welcomes TWO WAY trade and skilled workers.

It was a great relationship before the EU stuffed it up. And I say this a dark skinned migrant to Britain who holds dual British and Australian citizenship.
By all means call out racism where it genuinely exists, but the constant boy-who-cried-wolf act is really cheesing off the the villagers.....
