During the past few days we've had the spectacle of George Brandis firs messing up changes to the Racial Discrimination Act, then with dreadful attempt to explain the metadata. Tony Abbott chimed in and made matters worse before Malcolm Turnbull rushed to their rescue.
Well now another of Abbott's senior ministers has confirmed that the clowns are in full flight inside the Abbott Circus tent with what must rate as one of the most stupid comments any politician has made this year:
"...Senator Abetz, the leader of the government in the upper house and the Employment Minister, made the comments on Channel 10 program The Project when asked if he believed the "factually incorrect" statement that abortion leads to breast cancer.
"I think the studies, and I think they date back from the 1950s, assert that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer," he said on Thursday night. ..."
Tony Abbott owes mainstream Australians an explanation why clowns like these are members of his Cabinet and why HE is allowing them to roam Australia making such absolutely outrageous statements that vilify and denigrate those who have had abortions.
