I am so sad and can't stop crying. I had to get my dog put down and it is breaking my heart.
He looked at me with such absolute trust and love while he drifted away without any pain while his eyes glazed over and then went blank. I feel so bad.
It had to be done but that doesn't make it feel any easier.
I will eventually get another dog one day but nothing will ever replace the total love, loyalty and devotion that Rexi gave me.
