RIP Rexi.... I have had many dogs that have died of old age or illness at an old age or I should say euthanized. Those dogs followed me around for months in my mind. I kept thinking they were there in the corner of my vision. Old habits I guess... I even stole a dog that was being abused once . I quietly took 3 pailings off a fence and took him home. Sam and I were best mates for 8 years before he died of Cancer.

If my little one is a guide, abused dogs over-compensate when they find a loving home. Ours has bonded to Mrs H and is never more than two metres from her.
