It seemed my dog new what was happening when the vet gave him the big green needle, his time and good it had been was up. He looked straight at me as the lights went out, seemed somewhat content. I hadnt expected it but driving home with him now dead on the passenger seat the tears welled up. First time ive had cause fortunately since being a teenager.
