ACCC Inquiry

I was looking at the monthly chart. Noticed that between the low of last month's low of $4.80 and this month's high of $4.67, there is a monthly chart gap. Chart gaps in the weekly and monthly charts are very rare and will get filled with certainty. This means, sometime this month or next (likely this month), TLS will go to $4.80 to fill this gap.

On the topic of the ACCC inquiry into declaring a mobile roaming service: As can be seen from an attached ACCC document issued in October 2016, there have been two previous such inquiries in the past. In 1998 and in 2005.

In the article published in The Sydney Morning Herald 5 September 2016, it was reported that a draft decision was expected in February 2017. This was what I thought. What happened to that??

Telstra was informed of this inquiry on 5 September 2016. It has now been 6 months since this inquiry was announced. The markets and individual stocks don't like uncertainty. I feel the ACCC should not be allowed to cast uncertainty over a stock's share price over such a long period of time. If you announce an inquiry, then there should be a time limit placed on the outcome of such an inquiry. Not months and months. The people doing the work on preparing the report should move, get it done and out there as soon as you can! This time, make up your mind definitively and let this be your last interruption on Telstra's business.

Can the ACCC force Telstra to let competitors use its mobile network in regional and remote areas? Can the ruling be against Telstra? Absolutely yes. Politicians and ACCC will not care at all about Future Fund or the mum and dad investors. Don't reply on that theory.
