    If no-one is going to win, it is suggesting that more choice in regional and remote areas will not be achieved by regulating Telstra, forcing Telstra to allow others access to their equipment. No.

    If more choice and lower prices is what is desired in regional and remote areas, this will be achieved by other operators Vodafone, Optus, spending money and building more towers, installing equipment out there. More supply=more choice and lower cost.

    What you want is more coverage, more choice of providers and low cost. Forcing Telstra will only create an illusion that there is choice of providers out there, but actually quality of coverage and extent of coverage will diminish, get worse. Not better.

    ACCC should start to regulate Optus and Vodafone, not Telstra.

    In fact, it seems Telstra has done well by spending money and providing the means of communication out there at all.
