l don't rely on politicians for advice on climate change. Only a complete idiot would do that .
l'm not a climate scientist . Therefore l need to rely on the opinion of well known, highly qualified , very experienced experts that have been studying this subject for decades .
Just as l don't design, engineer, build and operate the jet aircraft that l travel on when l go on holidays . Or self diagnose myself when l'm ill . l go to the qualified experienced professionals in the medical field.
