"Us vs them" will continue, and everything that goes along with that (war, abuse, murder, corruption, lying, cheating, terrorism, coercion, manipulation etc). Humans have a 'mind virus' called the ego. It's the perfect virus because 99.99% of the population is unaware of its existence. It's the source of all evil.
Whilst it's possible to break free of the ego, only 1 in 1 million achieve it. Using standard methods, it reqyires a lifetime or several lifestimes of dedication. So things will just continue in the same vein and at some point we will blow ourselves to kingdom come. Only luck stopped us doing that during the cold war. Now add in AI technology and the rise of China, and suddenly the threat is very high indeed. Several journalists and analysts say we're at the most critical point ever in history.... in regards to WW3.
There's a few ways we might save ourselves:
1. Neuralink. Force mass enlightenment using AI. 2. Widespread psychedelic use.
Realistically, I'd say 1 is the only option for saving the world. Upgrading to mind 2.0.
