Yes I am thinking your chart is pretty irrelevant as it is for an Australian gold ETF. The longest running gold ETF in Australia (actually the first ETF ever invented in the world in 2003) currently has a market capitalisation of $38 million, about a third as big as RMS's market capitalisation. Hardly anyone in Australia invests in these products and the stochastic, MACD or any other metric taken from this chart is just a lagging indicator of the US gold price/Australian dollar exchange rate movements.
