I have been following Dick Smith for a long time and regularly browsed their stores. Something did not seem right end of last year when they appeared to have fire sales and many shelves were empty or left with unwanted products. Don't know how these large stores survive by just selling cables, phone accessories, and little gadgets.
In all the years as a customer I hardly bought anything from them, and would have spent tenfold in other places like JB and Harvey Norman. So my instincts had told me to sell out of DSH a few weeks ago.
