personally I think the latter
i am projecting 50 million profit from there first full year of operations
now say I had 1.7 million shares on this company for ease of math
i would own 1000th of the company
which would give me $50000 per year on profit
now I can not ring up the company and ask them to send me a cheque for $1000 per week, however I know that price is placed on earnings allow 10 times brings this figure to $500000 or 30 cents per share
this is only for stage 1
I get the strong feeling after every Ann, that more and more I am buying a business with revenue for the next 30 years
