Actually if it were Irish-Australians there would be no problem. Dan Andrews and the Chief Police Commissioner would have no problem openly naming and shaming them and promising to crack down hard on them and the issue would get dealt with as a law and order issue.
It is because the ethnicity of the group involved is non-white that causes the problem. Many in positions of authority in Australia are totally petrified of having any hint of racism or racial profiling attached to anything they say........so instead they dance around the issue, terrified of saying the wrong thing, avoid taking direct action towards solving the problem and just hope it eventually goes away rather than seeing it for what it is - a law and order issue - and addressing it head on.
Here we have yet another case in today's news......barely a day goes by without such an incident but people like you refuse to face the truth.
