I'm not defending them. I'm simply stating the facts, which is that stocks don't always need to go up and it's not the regulators job to ensure this is the case either. It's normal for prices to fall, particularly after than a hotter than expected inflation report, and you can just blame everything you don't like on imaginary evil manipulators
