With the release of AGL half year results and the subsequent updating of analysts reports, relevant now to start really focusing on AGL's future earnings. The market is always forward looking, but has a tendency to:
a) look forward only about 12-24 months, longer than this and uncertainty becomes too much of a factor;
b) increase range bound pricing bands when uncertainty of future results is higher.
