I have had up to 23 equity company positions in GOLD and SILVER in 2016. I have sold out of all Gold positions pretty much. Every one at a profit. Rolled further proceeds in to SILVER plays (with some moderate exposure now to GOLD/COPPER/GRAPHITE/LITHIUM/ZINC) Silver is 90/10 to Gold for me now on just gold and silver portfolio ratio.
Most of proceeds (including profits) rolled in to current plays. Some profits shaved off in to gold 1/2 oz coins and silver coins and bars. 2 tropical holidays with large family, handmade furniture and electronic goodies for all.
I generally sit out negative positions until they turn around with reallocations to boost the upside. I have time and patience. The biggest challenge to good investing is simply patience. That's the key.
