    @alonso; you appear to have a do-eat-dog, winner-take-all perspective of political choices.

    IMO that's an extreme interpretation of Australia's Colonial Era Westminster system which breathes life into combative and obstructionist approaches to dealing with 'other sides of the political fence'.

    Even though I believe our Constitution is fraudulent and flawed I think it still enables for scrutiny of government changes to laws, government spending and the performance of Ministers.

    Scott Morrison's decision to make himself a duplicate minister for five portfolios due to his concerns about how they were being managed and Anthony Albanese's reluctance to sack underperforming ministers are indications that we often don't get what we voted for.
