Ccorrect but you do not live in both households at the one time. Thus for simplicity if household A live in their single residence for 100% of the time and their annual bill is say $2,000 they receive a credit of $300. By contrast if household B live in both of their residences 50% of the time and their combined annual bill is also $2,000 they will receive a credit of $600.
