What about Panama? Oh hang on, that was probably OK. Manuel Noriega was a bit of a dick. They did bail out Kuwait in '91 when Saddam got a bit greedy. Oh, and Bosnia in '95 probably worked out ok. At least the ethnic cleansing stopped. I think they sent a few thousand soldeirs and docs into Africa as well to deal with a bit of a local problem with ebola virus too? And I'm pretty sure most of the South Koreans are happy to have some US forces 'in situ' to keep North Korea's current nut job guessing.
