Investment loans to be limited to 10% of lending growth for all Banks. On top of that its getting more tedious to get loans approved by way of more tape.
This was in the works years ago under the Basel initiatives and parts of it being implemented now by Apra.
Imo its a good move for the banks as they get stronger loans- for investors, you can still get cheaper loans from lenders who don't follow these rules.
