Hottod, what is your view regarding the real world application of this?

For example, it seems clear to me Acadia are at least harbouring an intent to develop for Fragile x. With respect to 2591 and indications outside the 4 currently in trials with NEU, Rhett and Fragile X (possibly), it would seem rather unethical/not in good faith if Acadia were to say state they were developing Trof for said new indication ‘in response/to block’ NEU or an acquirer from progressing for 2591.

I understand there is a joint steering committee between Acadia and NEU to govern such matters amongst other things. So I feel this is more a matter of contractual protection over current rights (likely with a view to acquisition from Acadias perspective) rather than something designed as a trump card per se. I think the removal for the 4 current 2591 indications gives me greater confidence that the trump card approach was not what was intended by the parties at the time.

In plain English, I believe it was designed as such so in the event that 2591 is superior, it can’t just be rolled out to render Trof redundant as Acadia have invested in Trof.
