I am very long RXM but wish the Cu grade were a bit higher.

The best base metals / PM developer opportunity in the world that I have found is Emerita Resources (EMO.V). Massive group of deposits in Spain. Looks to be around 50-100mt high grade amenable to underground mining and huge exploration upside. Deposits previously drilled and mined by Phelps Dodge and Rio. Emerging from 6 years of legal battles to establish tenure. Primarily zinc, copper and lead but significant gold and silver (as in 400moz silver and looks like at least 3mz gold). Brilliant research available at drjonesresourceinvestor.wordpress.com, also at ceo.ca where all his research is collated in the community wiki area of the EMO board. EU to inject $3b into underground mining in the area. Still awaiting award of second package but this now seems a formality as EMO submitted only compliant bid after courts found competing bid to be irregular and corruption established. Excellent management with CEO ex-head of Falconbridge global exploration.

Apologies for cross-promotion but this is the best opportunity Ive seen in my 25 years of smallcap investing/speculating.

With already over CAD30bn of high grade in-situ metal I expect a market cap of at least CAD1.5bn in 12 months versus current fully diluted ~$370m. Doc Jones - a highly astute analyst who retired in his 40's - and friends who together own more than 50% - claim to expect to sell to a major for at least CAD15 vs current CAD1.90. With rapidly growing resources this seems entirely reasonable.

Biggest risk (though arguably a very small one) is that the second land package is re-tendered instead of automatically awarded to EMO.
