I cycle for exercise and my helmet is full of holes from Magpie attacks, they mostly only attack during breeding season so you try to put up with them. Three years ago one Magpie decided he liked the sport and viciously attacked all year round so this year we had to ask the police to destroy him. I had to destroy one years ago on the farm as he would fly over four hundred meters to attack our little children whenever they went out side, he would never attack adults. We had a large garden(2.5 acres) with mature trees and several Magpie families in the garden that never attacked.
