Emtensor has been discussed a few times over the years but probably buried deep down in the threads by now!

My understanding is that they are aiming to had FDA approval in 2022, not that they will. Their website suggests they are still open to partnering with groups to carry out their trials, so full FDA approval 2022 is quite ambitious I think (hospital version - I would think their field version would be further away).

I think it's good to see others in the space as the market is immense and there is plenty of room for more than one company and if there were not competitors it would make me ask the question of - would that mean there is no real addressable market!

My thoughts on emtensor has always been that it seems good, but with a machine that has ~200 antennas in an array that is fixed to the trolley (the trolley must approach from the top of the bed in order to scan the patient) that could pose an issue. EMV's scanner can approach from either side of a hospital bed. Anyone who has been in a hospital, especially an ICU ward, would know there is a lot going on at the head of a bed so to disrupt all this to get between the wall and all the other equipment to wheel a scanner in could be problematic.
