I just don't see what you're suggesting as any way to run a business. This kind of move would be so short sighted, I imagine directors have a much less reactionary thought process and probably some line of strategic thought.
if I let my mind wander, I'd say visuals were fine and this info was used to bait the instos and sophs into the CR without significant discount.
