"How effective they are is still being understood" – maybe you should spend a few minutes on the Droneshield website. The defeat technology has been shown to be highly effective against RF-controlled drones at up to 2km range (Dronegun Tactical), and in swarms. At the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in Brazil in 2019, security guards detected and disabled four separate drones using Droneshield equipment.
