And of course Management collects a nice little ‘ Acquisition Fee’ for arranging the transaction: about 1.0% is fairly usual. Not bad on a $1.8 billion deal.
. If you must be involved with Charter Hall, buy CHC and stay away from the trusts. ( older readers may recall Westfield where the management company made the real money while the REIT holders were thrown a few crumbs a couple of times per year)
