Cuba and Australia celebrate 35 years of bilateral relations

Havana, Jan 31 (Prensa Latina) Cuba ratified the will to continue to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation in sectors of common interest with Australia, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry stressed that relations between the two countries were established on January 31, 1989, and over the years the ties of cooperation between the two countries have been strengthened.
Both nations have exchanged and made progress not only in diplomatic matters, but also in the fields of education, health care, sports, biotechnology, tourism, mining and oil.
The Cuban Embassy in Australia ratified the willingness to continue to work in order to consolidate cooperative relations between the two States.
