AP has said permitting is at final stages and I think we will be producing minimum 5,000 BOPD by December from 2, or 3 wells in amistad and hopefully another 5-10,000 BOPD from Zapato provided the 10K PSI BOP (that we are presumably using) is sufficient for the Zapato reservoir.

This may be an issue considering oil is being discovered 700m above the bottom of the hard ophiolite. Many other explanations for this and I understand pressure is not the only factor although it’s fair to say energised oil this high up in a generally nonporous hard volcanic rock is a good sign. I’m confident we are sitting on a whale.

Zapato success in the coming weeks is the key for SP gap and launch out of the options induced slumber otherwise we have to wait til after expiry for much more than 10c. Drilling risks remain but with any luck Zapato is progressing nicely and we might expect up update this week. It’s all about ROP for me not oil in the shakers at this point!
